Claudelle is a singer-songwriter whose soulful music blends dreamy soundscapes with reflective lyrics, exploring themes such as love, loss, and longing. Her taste in music spans a wide range of genres (soul, jazz, classical, R&B, and beyond), adding a richness and warmth to her sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Burt Bacharach, Tony Bennett, and Amy Winehouse, Claudelle has developed a style that feels uniquely her own.

Born into an artistic family and raised on the Cornish coast, Claudelle was immersed in art from a young age — a background that continues to shape her thoughtful approach to songwriting. Her song ‘400 Years’, featured on BBC Radio’s Introducing show, was inspired by Rembrandt’s self-portrait in the National Gallery, one of the first paintings she encountered as a child.

Claudelle began writing songs at an early age, and at thirteen she released her debut single, an arrangement of William Blake’s ‘Garden of Love’. She has continued to share her music, performing at festivals including Boardmasters and on the BBC Introducing stage at both The Great Estate Festival and Little Orchard Festival.

Claudelle is currently working on her debut EP, set for release later this year, which will showcase the next chapter of her musical journey.
