Born and raised in Cornwall, Claudelle is a young singer-songwriter who spent her childhood exploring music, museums, galleries, and the Cornish coast. She first began writing songs when she was around six years old. Aged nine, Claudelle received a silver award for best composition at the Cornwall Music Festival. Her songs are inspired by her life growing up in Cornwall, and her debut song, an arrangement of William Blake’s poem "Garden of Love", was released when she was thirteen.

Her first live performance was at the ‘Boardmasters’ festival, where she has since performed twice more. Other performances include the ‘Great Estate’ festival, the ‘Little Orchard Cider Festival’ (on the BBC Introducing stage), and ‘Rattler Fest.’ Claudelle’s musical tastes are wide and eclectic, drawing inspiration from artists such as Tony Bennett, Burt Bacharach, Claude Debussy, George Harrison, Joy Crookes, Piero Piccioni, and Amy Winehouse.
